Managing call coverage during breaks or staff absences can be difficult, but Microsoft Teams call queues offer a flexible solution, and Landis Attendant Console makes it even easier.
Read on or watch the video below to learn about logging in and out of Teams calls from Landis Attendant Console.
Setting Up Teams Call Queue Login in Landis Attendant Console
From within Landis Attendant Console, navigate to Settings > Layout. Look for the Teams Call Queue option on the right and add that button to your preferred location. Once added, you’ll see a new tab with a simple “Open Teams Call Queues” button.
How Teams Call Queue Login Works
When you click the Teams Call Queue button, it launches a webpage that takes you directly to your online Teams settings where any call queues you’re a member of are listed.
From this page, you can easily log in and out of queues as needed.
Real-World Applications for Teams Call Queue Login
Backup Reception Coverage
When the primary receptionist goes to lunch or takes a break, another team member can log into the call queue and handle incoming calls from their own desk. They maintain full control over when they receive these calls by logging in and out of the queue.
Multi-Location Support
For organizations with multiple offices, when one location is understaffed, team members from another location can log into that office’s call queue to handle calls remotely.
Flexible Staffing During Peak Times
During busy periods, staff can temporarily join call queues to help manage increased call volume, then log out when the rush subsides.
